About Jonathan

I have lived in the Mounds View School District for my entire life. I attended Valentine Hills Elementary and Highview Middle Schools, and am a graduate of Mounds View High School. My wife (also a Mounds View graduate) and I purchased our first home in the school district knowing that we wanted our kids to have a high quality public education. We have 4 children – Jake (6th Grade at Chippewa), Brad (2nd Grade at Turtle Lake), Josh (Kindergarten at Turtle Lake), and Steven (3 years old) – and live in Shoreview.

I have nearly 15 years of experience in the private and civic/non-profit sectors. I am currently Vice President of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce where I oversee our partnerships with local governments and economic development efforts. Before joining the Chamber, I served in a leadership role at my family’s fourth generation company in Saint Paul.

In addition to serving as a member of the school board since 2014, I am currently President of the Mounds View Schools Education Foundation, where I have an opportunity to engage our community to invest in excellence in the Mounds View Public Schools.

I look forward to earning your vote on November 3rd.
